Smoky Mountain Car Museum
You don’t have to be a car buff to enjoy the Smoky Mountain Car Museum. But if you’ve got a passion for all things automotive, the Smoky Mountain Car Museum is a must-see during your Pigeon Forge vacation. A long-time attraction on the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the Smoky Mountain Car Museum showcases an impressive collection of more than 25 antique cars and other vehicles, some with famous connections. Highlights of the Smoky Mountain Car Museum include a James Bond “007” Aston Martin used in the movie Goldfinger, Elvis Presley’s Mercedes CPE, an Evel Knievel jump bike and the Silver Dollar Car of Hank Williams, Jr. Also of interest are a bullet proof Cadillac that once belonged to gangster Al Capone and a Cadillac owned by the late Hee Haw star “Stringbean” Akeman. Other vehicles on display at the Pigeon Forge auto museum include a 1930 Duesenberg, a 1937 Packard V-12 and a pair of Corvettes from the’60s. The Smoky Mountain Car Museum also has a historic gas pump globe exhibit.
