Open late March through early January, Dollywood offers thrilling rides, award-winning entertainment, authentic crafters and four of the South’s largest festivals. Dollywood is the destination for great rides including Tunderhead™ and Mystery Mine® as well as family favorites like Dollywood Express train. Enjoy the best in country, bluegrass, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Southern gospel music with more than 30 performances daily. Don’t miss Sha-Kon-O-Hey!, a musical celebration of the people, spirit and heritage of the Great Smoky Mountains. Also, East Tennessee’s finest crafters offer upclose demonstrations of their artistry. The park’s many restaurants serve an array of delicious Southern cuisine. Through the year, our festivals bring special entertainment. Festival of Nations (March 28- April 27) welcomes the new show Le Grand Cirque’s ImaginE. Summer brings KidsFest (June 12-Aug.2) and Creature Adventures starring the Kratt Brothers. Celebrate fall at National Gospel & Harvest Celebration (Oct. 2-31) with more than 200 FREE Southern gospel concerts. Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas festival (Nov. 7, 2009-Jan. 2, 2010), named 2008’s Best Christmas Event, returns with the Polar Express™ 4D Experience and the finale season of the Dollywood’s Babes in Toyland.
