The main hub for pick up is located in Patriot Park. From there, you can catch a trolley heading to many places along the Parkway and Wears Valley Rd. There is even a trolley whose route is strictly back and forth to Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country all day!! Trolleys run every 15-45 minutes depending on the route and traffic flow. All you have to do is find a trolley shelter and your trolley will be there soon to pick you up! You can pick up a route map at the main office, print one from their webpage, or even look at routes and pick up/drop off spots on the Pigeon Forge webpage. With many of the pick-up and drop off spots conveniently located near many of the restaurants and attractions, fun times are not far away.
The fare per ride ranges from $0.50 – $0.75 but the best news is that you can buy an all-day pass for only $2.50 per person at the Pigeon Forge Mass Transit main office. Wow!!! You can’t beat that for affordable transportation!! Otherwise, don’t forget to carry exact change as the driver’s do not carry change with them.
Our family has experienced riding on the trolley and we loved it. Because it is out of the ordinary for the little divas, they liked to think of it as an amusement park ride. I loved it because we just got to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery en route to our shopping destination and dad loved it because he didn’t have to be our chauffeur for the day!
On your next vacation to Pigeon Forge, leave your car parked and enjoy an inexpensive and relaxing ride on a Pigeon Forge trolley!
