While we’re working to help our neighbors in the aftermath, we’re receiving inquiries from potential visitors about conditions in Pigeon Forge. Our businesses are unaffected by the flooding from hurricane Helene and are welcoming visitors. Highway 441/Newfound Gap Road is open. Current Tennessee Road Closures
Currently Tennessee road conditions on the way to Pigeon Forge are as follows:
– Interstate 40 is OPEN at mile marker 407 in both directions. Exit 407 is the primary exit for Pigeon Forge from Interstate 40.
– Interstates I-81, I-75 and I-65 were not affected and are open for travel.
– I-26 is open in both directions from mile marker 39 in Erwin, Tennessee (Unicoi County) to the North Carolina line.
– Interstate 40 near the TN/NC border has one lane of traffic open, moving in each direction, from Cold Springs Creek Road (Exit 7) in North Carolina to Big Creek Road (Exit 447) in Tennessee.
