TRAVEL ALERT

While we’re working to help our neighbors in the aftermath, we’re receiving inquiries from potential visitors about conditions in Pigeon Forge. Our businesses are unaffected by the recent flooding from hurricane Helene and are welcoming visitors. While there are road closures throughout the area, there are alternate routes in and out of Pigeon Forge. Resources including up-to-date road closures, Pigeon Forge donation site information, and alternate routes to Pigeon Forge can be found in the below sections.

Current Tennessee Road Closures

Currently, Interstate 40 and Interstate 26 are closed in both directions at the Tennessee/North Carolina border. I-40 is closed both directions from mile marker 440 in Tennessee (Cocke County) until mile marker 3 in North Carolina. In addition I-26, is closed both directions from mile marker 39 in Erwin, Tennessee (Unicoi County) to the North Carolina line.

Getting to Pigeon Forge

For those visiting Pigeon Forge from areas impacted by current road closures, please click on the links below to view the best route from your city. We encourage all of our visitors to be mindful of their surroundings and to travel safely.

Donation Collection at LeConte Center

If you’d like to help those affected by recent flooding, Pigeon Forge is collecting the items listed below. Donations can be made at the LeConte Center’s front/events entrance located at 2986 Teaster Lane daily from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Saturday, Oct. 5. Used clothing donations are not requested at this time.

Masks, including dust masks

New socks & underwear
